Is my BOI/Ulsterbank account the same north/south?

Hi I live in Belfast and bank with both Ulsterbank and BOI in the North and was just wondering if I can lodge money into my Ulsterbank or BOI account when I'm in the south or will I be charged/need my IBAN code? This probably seems like a daft question but I genuinely have no idea!! Thanks:confused:

They're different countries so different bank accounts.
