    Settings -> Phone -> Call Forwarding.

    Tried that but no matter what number I put in it just has a grey cross next to it. Weardest thing ever. Might be another one of 3's little quirks!

    I tried it.

    It let me put in the number but would not complete the call.

    Something odd.

    Hi guys anyone else have any ideas? Got to go out of the country tonight until Thursday and want to leave my phone on but not receive any calls. Why do they make these things so complicated - i think this is an apple thing rather than a 3 problem - allergic at this stage to both 3 and apple :mad:

    With Vodafone (Pay Monthly) you can change your settings for call divert online, but then 3 never make it that easy, now the only thing is vodafone charge 15c for diverting a call to a number other then your mailbox, hope this helps!

    Hello Corklad,

    You need to do the following;

    Settings>Phone>Call Forwarding>On
    Then it will ask you to enter the number you want to divert to. You need to enter 353 at the start of the number and drop the leading 0. For example, if the number you want to divert to is 0831234567, then enter 353831234567.

    This is works just fine. I've have just tested it less than a minute before posting this.

    I work for iPhone technical support. Any further questions, just ask or PM me.

    I know what I was doing wrong. Whe in call forwarding you can enter any number at all doesn't need to be 353 format. The problem was that as soon as u enterv any number a grey circle with a White cross comes up and u never get an ok prompt but when I click back on the forwarding button it holds the divert number. Piss poor design there should always be an ok or confirm button. Prob more iPhones than a 3 "quirk". Thanks for the advice anyway guys. Those on 3 be advised u need to enter 08 whatever 5 and then ure number if u want to send all to voicemail. It won't accept 171 and 3 people from 3 tech support advised sending all to vm can only be done by ringing cyst care. Enough said!!

    Yeah, that little circle with the x in it is to cancel then number you have entered. If you tap the x, it clears the text field for you to enter in a new number.

    That's the layout for the iPhone, nothing to do with the network/carrier at all.
