Went into a restaurant called the Hub in Crumlin village yesterday and thought it was excellent. Its above a yellow and black pub on the corner in the village, which I have to say looked scaldy as hell but we went upstairs to the restaurant on a friends recommendation.

Their earlybird was 17.95 for 3 course dinner with coffee/tea and the food was devine. It seemed to be run entirely by Chinese, even though the food was mostly normal Irish e.g Steak, Lamb etc. The food was DIVINE and the staff were so friendly. One of them even showed us how to write our names in Chinese.

So do you have any places that you stumbled on unexpectedly, or that look totally different from the outside?
