I'm a singer/songwriter from Donegal, but based in Dublin right now. Citywest, to be exact. I'm hoping to start a folk/rock type band, do some gigs and hopefully record an album before next summer. ( have chosen 10 songs already after careful deliberation ) I've got some basic recording gear at home so would be able to start recording some arrangements etc early on before gigging and recording professionally. What I'm looking for is: (in no particular order) a fiddle/violin/harmonica player, lead guitarist, bassist, drummer ( beat box would be ok for now ), keys/piano. If any or all of the above were based in the Citywest/Tallaght area and were able to pitch in with some vocals as well then I'll be doin' feckin' cartwheels! I've posted 5, one-two min, samples of the songs up on www.myspace.com/sharkeymusic so you can have a listen and see what you think. The deal, for the right people, will be an equal share in the proceeds of all gigs, single/album sales etc. If you're interesed please message me on here or email : sharkeymusic@gmail.com
    Thanks
    Paddy

    Hi guys,

Don't know what's happening out there in Bass land but I've had 5 bassists get back to me so far and not a single, guitarist, violinist, harmonica player, or drummer.(Well, one or two of the bassists play keys/piano and there was some girl who's email address didn't work who played piano).

Oh, well, the search goes on!

So, if you're into the music (check the link above) and if you play any of the afore mentioned instruments (apart from the bass that is!!) please get in touch and we'll try and organise a jam.

    Thanks

    Paddy
