Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The inaugural Irish Woodsball League (IWL) drew to an exciting close today in Battlebridge Paintball. The Cold Blooded Painters ( Battlebridge ) took the league on overall points. Viking Raiders came in second, Oddball in third and Northern Conquest finished up the places. Thanks to Seb from the Dublin Reapers for being the Head Ref for the day.

This was the 4th event of the IWL. It was spread across the country for 2010 between two venues. Frontier Paintball in the East and Battlebridge Paintball in the west. Two events been played in each to spread the burden of travel for teams. It was an interesting league the way the scoring worked out. Coming up to to days event, it was still pretty open.

The IWl started off shaky, naturally enough for a new league, but each event got better as both players and the organising committee learned from each hurdle that was came across. For most of the players, this was their first taste of tournament paintball. They all know by now that it is no walk in the park and is a lot stricter that regular rec ball.

Overall though, I think that most people who were involved in the league in some shape or form were happy to have taken part and I am sure that we will see them all back again next year, with some new fresh faces also hopefully.
