    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew whether the hair dye in the likes of hair salons are tested on animals? I get my hair highlighted twice a year but I have become very careful not to use products that have been tested on animals.... any info much appreciated!

Not exactly what you're looking for, but the lush shampoo, the blonde, makes my hair about two shades lighter. You can use it instead of your normal shampoo. It takes a few weeks but definitely works. 100g lasts me ages and I shampoo once a day. It also makes my hair look thicker.
