    Hi

On the WWE terms and conditions for the Packages it wisely suggests obtaining some form of insurance.

I was wondering if previous package users have insured themselves. I'm unsure if regular travel insurance (akin to that for a fortnight in Benidorm!)would suffice the risk of the event being cancelled/WWE going bust, etc.

Can anyone advise on the insurance position please.

    Many thanks

I always get insurance for going to Mania...its pretty necessary when going to America!

I'd recommend getting the annual multi-trip insurance which covers you for all trips in the year. It costs just a bit more than the single trip insurance.

    Here are some sites:

I'm definitely getting insurance, no worries about that! Was just unsure of whether regular travel insurance covered this type of event - maybe its a daft question, but I was concerned that if something happened that I couldn't go on the trip the insurer would not cover the cost of the WWE Package element of the costs.

No worries...its not a daft question; your travel insurance will cover you for the package element of the trip...its essentially the same as a package holiday that you would get in a travel agents (with the exception that there are no flights included).

I plan to get insurance after I book flights, so hopefully in the next 1-2 months. It's a relief to have.

I got annual insurance for myself and the missus from multitrip.ie/com and it was only €65
