Looking for some advice or suggestions :

Want to spend a week away in September (maybe from the 11th). Travelling with toddler to need to fly at reasonable times (not too early/late) and not too long (3 hr max). Looking for sun, pool, some activites other than sun and pool !, beach would be a bonus. Budget €1000 or so. Ex Cork would be best - but Shannon or Dublin would work ok too.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be great.

Now Now, temper temper Damoz...we're not all travel agents on this here forum :D

I just saw your thread...we went to "Hotel Magnific" in Gumbet last year and I have to say I really recommend it. We just went as a couple, but there was a few people with toddlers there and they managed fine, it's a hotel in turkey on the beach, the water's warm, it's in nice grounds, the rooms are fine, I think it might take about 3.5 hrs to get there, can't remember...so you'll actually have to look into that end of it yourself

I recommend it, look it up and see what you think. Otherwise go to a travel agent :D:D Happy holidays....

What about Majorca? There's availability for the date you mentioned, and it's within your budget on this link http://www.holidaysonline.ie/search/index.asp?fuseaction=home.results_list

Personally, I'd go for the resorts of Puerto Pollensa (one of the nicest parts of the island), Sa Coma or Alcudia.

Flights are ex Cork, and slightly cheaper ex Shannon. Departing times are ok, 09.30 and 14.30 hrs. Flying time takes 2 hrs 25 mins.

    HTH

Hi, How old is your toddler because that sometimes makes a differance. I would suggest Spain or Portugal on the basis that the flight is a bit shorter etc. I'm going away next week myself with my 11 month old and my 2 and a half year old and we're going to Spain. I would go onto sunway travel or direct holidays for a few apartment suggestions and then look them up on trip advisor.best of luck.

15 months. have done a bit of digging and am leaning towards Albuferia at the moment.
