Mother Redcaps

    Hello , I'm just wondering if anybody knows what the plans are for the Mother Redcaps building complex?. http://www.dublinpubscene.com/thepubs/motherredcaps.html

    The estate agent sign outside indicates that it's been sold. Apparently there were pans to build apartments on the site.

    I really like the building and would be sad to see it turned into another cold block of flats. Although with the present state of things I would say that this plan could be on hold indefinitely.

    I can't help you but I'd be interested to know what's going on with it myself (I'm a journalist who writes about property). I might email the guy who started the petition.

    This may help you;

    http://www.dublincity.ie/swiftlg/apas/run/wphappcriteria.display?paSearchKey=1325240

    Basicaly the Dublin City Council have online records of any planning permission applications since 2005.

    If you go to the above link and enter back lane which is the address of mother redcaps, a few results come up. i believe the one you are looking for is the second one, if you go to any of them and look at their documentation section you should see any plans that have been submitted...

    Let me know if thats helps you out...:D

    Sorry , I haven't checked my Yahoo mail in a while for the response alert. Yeah , I checked that link out after apparently there was plans to develop the site again. But like I said before it could be on the long finger with the way things are. Cheers.
