I have land (which I cut silage from in June) for which i don't have enough livestock to graze. A neighbour said he'd rent it up to the end of November.

What implications are there to my SFP and REPS?

Dont think your allowed... certainly not without amending your plan.
Of course you can always just chance it.

    I'm not sure about REPS.

SFP - You can do it, but you need to draw up an agreement that doesn't describe it as a rental arrangement, and which leaves you in control of the land and its use. One of the terms and conditions of the SFP is that you have "use and control" of the land, i.e. you must be seen to still be farming the land yourself. There's nothing to stop you "borrowing" a few of your neighbour's cattle to keep the grass in check, but you cannot rent the land to him and still claim SFP on it. You will still need to keep nitrates and other records for the land.
