    He needs to try something. Being away for a long stretch should get the hunger back. He should probably get some putting practice in all the same.

    yes a radical approach is required here
    perhaps go the full hog and retire (but make a big return for augusta)
    he should possibly grow a beard as well or something

    Can understand him needing to miss the game but timing is unusual, has Monty given him an indication he will pick him because Garcia is one that the Ryder Cup team should want involved, always raises his game.

    He has shown some form in the last few weeks.

    Could be a decent bet for this week;)

    he's a bit of a baby at times but hopefully this break will do him the world of good. The timing is rare cos he could have taken 4 months off after the ryder cup. I bet he doesn't really want to play in it, like tiger.

    But if he's taking a 2 month break that includes Ryder Cup week? I dont think he's too confident of getting a pick tbh. He just looks so disinterested when he's on the green putting out.
