Yeah, had a great time, traffic management was excellent, we left just as the match ended (around five I guess) and we drove out without a bother.

Pity they didnt manage to have enough water to keep the jacks flushing. man they were foul.

The new by-pass around the town meant that it was just show traffic as compared to a mix of general traffic and show traffic as in recent years.

Yep was at it. Great alright that they sorted out traffic problems from last year.

Would be great if they would could maybe section off carpark into numbered rows, some people (especially alot of older people) found it very hard to find their cars in the RED car park where I was. The field was absolutely massive and no real fixed landmarks to get your bearings off.

Weather was fab though and i'd say most people really enjoyed it, i certainly did:D Some very good inventions

It was a super show.Great mix of livestock, trade stands, shop, kids attractions etc And the stewards stayed around to keep traffic flowing out in the evening (Ploughing Match Organisers Please Take Note). It was great to see long queues at every ice cream van at a show after three years of sheltering from the rain behind them.

Ah yea, a great show, back to its best. Brought home a small rosette too - not bad for my first time showing a calf :D Thought the machinery display was as good as usual. Very impressed with the forestry section too.

totally agree, great show, first time I've gone and would highly recommend, cattle section looked very impressive..apart from leaving the sun cream in the car...now that was not clever;)

well done on the rosette reilig, must have been a good one

Wel done Reilig on your rosette, your well justified in being proud of it, 4th place as said before is very good, considering your up against the best in the country;)

I was one of those going around with a big red head, got totally scalded!!:o

I thought the Tullamore show was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed it and hated to leave.
Just two complaints - one of them a good one.:)

    1) Is it time for a two day show? I did think the crowds were a little dense and I was unable to see everything I wanted to - because of q's and crowds. No doubt the great weather brought a lot of people out but spreading it over two days would, I would think, help thin thin the crowds.

    2) While traffic was excellent - parking was awful. Three issues. I got in around 11:30 to the Red lot. They had me park within sight of the entrance "lane" and then walk forever through empty fields to the show. 1)When I came out, all the empty fields were filled. Why didn't I get to park closer. 2) There were few "lanes" marked out which resulted in lots of empty space that could have been used more efficiently - gotten cars closer to the show. 3) There was no "Way Out" marked. As a result 18 streams of cars all tried to merge into one lane. A one way traffic scheme would have resulted in less aggravation.

Just helpful suggestions. Truly a great show and well deserving of being the number one show of its kind these days.:D

What class were you in reilig?Well done.

Parents were there and came home with a blue rosette, they're still over the moon about it.The only gripe they had about it was exibitors showing cattle left way too late to get to the show and got held up in normal traffic.

    Very good show though.:)
