Just a quick well done to the two gaurds and the civvie who took down 3 violent guys in Clondalkin lat night. they crashed thier getaway car in the village and could have killed dozens. (the place was packed where they crashed it ).
I know they didnt stick around as they had to get the prisioners back but they missed a huge chher and round of applauuse from about 800 people (everyone came out of the pubs to see).
These guys deserve a pay rise!!

Here's hoping any one of the 800 will write a quick letter into the station expressing their satisfaction.

    Good job lads.

OP, do those lads and the civilian who assisted them a favour and write to the district super praising the actions of his people and explain the people in the area were supporting them as well.

Yes, although that might not be the exact name for it. It does present an award to a member with "outstanding achievement". There's a poster for it in my station, I'll get a picture and post soon

There was a section for Garda of the Year. Nominations finished sometime ago.

Deadwood seems to be winning by a small margin....
