HELP - Photoshop CS3 Error

This is driving me nuts. I've been using CS3 for a while, no problem. All of a sudden it won't open any of the files that I've edited, i.e.: 1) I open a jpg and edit it 2) I save that jpeg 3) I try to reopen that jpg 4) I get this error "Could not complete your request because of a program error" Anybody got any ideas?…

As usual it could be a number of things. Did a bit of a google and came across this compilation of fixes that could be worth a look:

I thought of 'scratch disk' for some reason but every problem is different so best of luck going through the answers on the link.
