Out of interest, where did you but yours? I'm looking for a cheaper pair, can't afford the RI ones. :(

I got them in Nine West in NY, they're called Hollyn boots, part of their Vintage America line. Were $100 on sale but I think they were a good investment.. :)

They're knee high, by the way, I dont know if you mean the ankle ones or not.

I have a pair on order that should be delivered early next week; am dying to see what I can wear them with.

@Livingdeadgirl, I saw military style boots in Dunnes for €25. They really didn't look bad at all so might be worth checking out??

I want these boots soooooooo much, they're so cool....I'm just worried they're a bit on the manly side!

@futoo, are the dunnes ones ankle or like knee high? :)

They looked sort of mid calf length.....they had a sort of block heel and were laced with buckles at the side on the tops of them as I remember.

I googled them - $100 is a great deal! They're lovely. Depends on your style... could do them with the grunge babydoll dresses or maybe with jeggings and an oversized jumper dress? Or I love when something masculine is paired with something floaty and feminine, like say, a white sheer lace dress and a leather jacket? I wouldn't recommend wearing it with military clothing because you'd look too 'on trend' and its a look that will date much faster.

Yeah thats exactly what Im worried about, as crayolastereo said, they are masculine on their own so something feminine and floaty would probably be best. Maybe black lace leggings or something but I don't want to go too goth either.

If you go with a simple fitted dress in a bright colour, like a red or a purple and the black lace leggings it won't look so goth maybe?

I love military boots! Doc martins are my favourites, a nice dirty denim mini skirt and fishnets or a short dress and mad pattern tights.
