Wrong, o2 can tell that your tethering and will proceed to extort the bejaysus out of you. You could run up a bill of MILLIONS. IPhone only phone that allows them to do this.

No unlimited data package enables tethering. I'm on the same plan and asked o2 this a while back. I'm weighing up unlimited data vs. tethering

Do they really? That's a big turnaround from o2. That's excellent actually.

i was sure i read on the o2 forum that was the case, i rang cc one day to be sure and was told no it definately doesnt cover tethering, told her bout seeing in on the forum and she said no if i got the 3gb data addon that i could use that to tether

so i went back on the forum and low and behold i was told yes i can tether, its annoying as fuk when cc dont know the ins and outs of what they are supporting

Fantastic news for iPhone owners. I do most of my surfing on the phone but occasionally need to sync a couple of items to the laptop, that's why I got the desire - becomes a WiFi hotspot
