Westwood and Ryder Cup

    Not looking good at the moment for Lee to be fit for Ryder Cup.

    Where does he spot go to?

    Extra spot on world ranking, European points or does Monty get an extra pick?

    Isn't the world list the first one they are taken from,if so I would guess that he would be ignored from tht list and the next qualified name would count.

    When Martin was dropped from the team for Valderamma they gave his spot to the next on the list. That was when it was top 10 on the money list getting in with two wild cards.

    Now it's the leading 4 players from the world rankings and leading 5 not already qualified from the money list. Going on the fact that Westwood is top of both, but the world rankings has priority, the precedent set in the Martin case should mean that the 5th player on the world rankings gets in.

    Next on world points is Edoardo.

    Padraig is next on european side.

    Sounds like it could be up to monty what to do as nothing official what we know off
