The Stalin Line

    In Minsk at the moment, and went to see the Stalin Line yesterday. Really interesting. It was like the Siegfried Line and Maginot Line and originally stretched all the way from Odessa to St. Petersburg.
    Part of the Minsk section has been preserved and is a kind of military theme park/museum. They have all sorts of weaponry from WWII right up to modern times. So maybe this is relevant to Cold War too.
    The best part was firing weapons like the Maxim and AK-47. Blank cartridges cost about 80c each.
    I'll try to get some pics up when I get home.
