rolled barley soaked in mollasses for a week or 2 and boiled spuds, any rocks or along bank spread them, do this myself every year on a strean running into a private farm and get a few evenings shooting, shot it 4 times last year got 18 mallard with a friend then left it alone, we'll give it a rap again this year, best of luck, must say ducks had been feeding in the area......
