Here's another tactical one, thats completely free this time (developed by the United States Army and released as a global public relations initiative to help with recruitment). You can't play on servers online as they take it too seriously, some even make You pass the CPR training missions before You can play. Other servers play it run and gun like COD. It runs very well and as its Unreal 3 it looks great. We could play our own style and lock out all the a$$holes but would need a fair few players

Edit, just started the dl on Steam, I see lots of You already have it, but nobody has any achievements or played it for very long either

Played the earlier versions a lot back in the day, always thought it was a more enjoyable online experience to CS and the like. The training does get fairly odious, having to sit through an hours worth of stupid classes just to unlock the medic class etc. Not sure I would have the patience to go through all that again.

I played from 1.8 through to 2.4 and quit shortly before 2.5. It was a great game in it's day. CSAR, Hospital, Bridge, Sandstorm and um... can't remember the last one I liked, ah yeah Pipeline (SF too). Couldn't get back into it after playing CoD 1-4 as it was much slower paced.

I'm dl'ing the dedi server to see what exactly we can set, hopefully we can turn off ranked and training shít and just play

I've a problem with the Ati driver and alt & tab with this game, if I alt tab I can't restore. I've figured out that if You alt & enter to kill fullscreen You can then tab to what You need
