iOS 4 slow on 3G

Since I upgraded to iOS 4 I've noticed that simple tasks like opening "settings" could take up to 11 seconds to complete. Overall, the phone was very sluggish. I've tried this and it has quickened things up a LOT. For instance, it now takes approx 2-3 seconds to open "settings". Hope this helps some of you out there. IM

I got an iPhone 3G and ios4 was a disaster. It took me 2days to change up my mind not to use it.

I sold it on EBay and bought 3GS 16gb.
Works like a charm.
