Ha, I think sometimes they fade in their own good time.
It'll depend on the scratch. Bio oil might help but they'll prob disappear in their own sweet time.

I have one on my face from when I was a couple hours old. I scratched my face with my little new baby fingernail, and as I grew, so did the scar.

I've been in a fair few fights that left me covered in scrapes, which have all healed.
And my guys back has always healed up alone so I personally think maybe yours will heal too

I saw no significant benefit from Bio Oil. I think the Trilogy Rosehip oil is working on my old spot scars, but over a very extended period. For scratches, I think you just need to let them heal, but an oil may speed up the healing process a little on fresh injuries. Have they improved much over the 3 weeks?

It can take a few weeks for scrape marks or cuts to heal on any part of your body, though depending on the type of mark on your face, I've found that they tend to heal quicker on my face.

Did the nails go deep into your skin (i.e. open a small cut or wound) or did it just tear the top of the skin? If the skin was broken and skin is still red, it could intimate that you got some infection under your skin which has slowed down the healing process. Bathing your face in warm water and treating the affected area with anti-septic cream/liquid would help.

Otherwise, your face is probably still bruised and trying to heal itself from the inside out. Bathing the area with cold water can help with this as it reduces the swelling and helps get rid of the bruising that's left.

I haven't yet come across a product that helps with scars/marks on the skin, so just leaving it be and trying to touch your face as little as possible will help.

I have dog bite marks on my face and it was really just time that healed them. I tried Bio Oil but it didn't do much. You'll be fine in a few weeks. Scratch marks shouldn't be too deep.

..yes guys there not deep at all..just alittle skin came off as expected when you get scrape its not deep at all..i had before and they went alot quicker..but this time there fading alittle more slow...just anxious cause i have somthing coming up in september and i normally think i should heal fast for some reason..tell me guys does bio work if you use twice daily everyday!?..i guess i could wait..or might just go to dermatologist so he/she could give me special cream or oil that might help fade them more quick

..@convert my scrapes are redy brown..should i bath in warm water for a week?..you kno i did it with salt before and it worked the last time..this time like i said there healing slower so ive been trying different things

@Storminateacup...id love if they could fade prity soon :)..more in time for sep as im sure there is some treatment that could fade more quick:)

@pythia...i hope so few weeks would be great:)

@lainey...there fading slow..its like i need somthing to get rid of the redy brown marks..if i can do bam everything perfect the skin looking excellent again..whats best to fade marks oil or cream?:)

You could try arnica cream - it's for bruises, but it could help. I do find it significantly increases how fast bruises clear up, there's also tablets you can take which are supposed to speed up healing, but I don't know if they are effective or just standard homeopathic placebos, and Vitamin E is good for skin - you could try the vitamin E/starflower oil combo, which I feel has improved the overall state of my skin a little since I started taking it. You can get all in Boots. But I'd say you'll be ok by September.

To be honest, I don't think there is any magic cream a dermatologist can prescribe, especially since they are healing even if slowly. But if you do want to go down that route, f you are concerned about infection, try your GP first (which you may need to do anyway as many dermatologists will not see a patient without a GP referral.)

You take them as a tablet - I'm not sure that it would be safe to apply directly to the scar. It's a combined capsule like this one : http://www.seven-seas.com/products/seven-seas/pure-starflower-oil-500mg-30
