Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm organising a party for my dad's 50th and thinking of doing some kebabs for the BBQ. Does anyone know where, in dublin city centre, I can buy wooden skewers. I know the metal ones are probably better, but I need quite a few of them and it'll work out pretty expensive if I get the metal ones.

Most of the Asian foods stores stock wooden/bamboo skewers for very reasonable prices. Sorry I don't live in Dublin but if you know of any Asian shops you know where to go. Hope the bbq goes great :)

Just remember to soak the skewers well in water before using them.

Thanks a million for that. Just got some in Tesco, so at least thats one less thing to think about for the party.
