Battery problem HELP!!

My g&g gr25 is firing grand with a sanyo 9.6 1800mah large type battery but when I go to discharge that battery it wont discharge and when I go to charge that battery it sparks . I try using another fully charged asg 9.6 3300mah battery in it and it wont fire at all . Im completely lost and havent a clue what to do, I have checked all the connections and still no luck

could be your charger ??

Hace a look at the battery plug of the Sanyo battery, is the RED wire connected to the round socket and the black wire connect to the square socket

It charges every other battery perfectly except this one!!! Its such a pain!!

Sorry I forgot to ask is it a large or small tamiya plug
The red goes to the round side of the plug in a small tamiya connectot but the red goes to the square side on a large tamiya connector

I found out that the problem was the battery is a nicd one and the charger is a nimh only charger so thats why it sparked so I bought a new charger and its still not working so I have come to the conclusion that its something with the battery
