POST OFFICE/CUSTOMS?????

hey guys i ordered some clothes online from the US and it was shipped by USPS and wondering if you can help me...

so apparently my order was attempted to be delivered yesterday but I was at home the whole day and heard no ring and there were no notifications through the post box. My order had gone through customs and it was released from customs. And I live in Dublin 15 but for some reason the order was on route to Dublin 5.
I have rechecked my order and my address was perfectly right and now it is written on the anpost website that is to be sent to sender.

I am really puzzled and wonder if it is going to be shipped back to the US because I am sure either the customs have made a mistake or anpost themselves???? What should I do since anpost dont operate till Monday.

It doesn't say in that list that it was attempted to be delivered to you, if you did not get notification how do you know there was any attempt?

I would go into/contact the main post office on Monday, show them the list and ask why they are sending it back instead of delivering it. If they have already sent it back (which I doubt, over the weekend) they will just have to retrieve it and deliver it. Ask them for evidence that they attempted to deliver it, and why there was no notification (or indeed, ring at the doorbell).

USPS is normally delivered through An Post.

Sometimes they go through GLS/Fedex also afaik

hi mate still will not work the number will not connect i do not think i have to put in a code or something it says it is 1-800-275-8777 i dial that and it says it is the wrong number and so i dunno how to contact them now and so do you know if they come through an post or a courier:rolleyes: thanks

You need to put 001 in front of the number so it should read:

001-1-800-275-8777

This is their customer service centre in the States, so watch out for the call charges!

Really should just get a tracking number and ring an post rather than spending money on an international call.
