Hi, was just wondering what the story is with Gaelic Games in Tallaght IT?
How many football and hurling teams do they have, if any at all?
    What's the standard like etc?
    Thanks.

When you start in Tallaght you'll very quickly meet Gerry Anderson, the GAA Officer. He's runs that whole area. Got quite a few football, hurling and camogie teams that seem to do pretty well for themselves, from beginners and upwards. I dunno off-hand, I'm not a sporty person, but you'll hear all about it at your inductions - believe me

Ah you cant miss Gerry Anderson, the larger than life chap. Basically they will probablly have three football teams senior, seconds and freshers. Seniors were at sigerson for a couple of years, had some great teams/players. They are back down to Trench now.

Hurling just a senior and fresher team, down at fergal maher for a few years won that a couple of times, so moved up to Ryan. Had a couple of dublin hurlers not sure if they still do.

If you play senior club itd be Easy enough to get a scholarship, you wont miss Gerry anyway he'll answer any questions.

Apparently, their handball team is super! Camogie is not a GAA sport, check Camogie.ie for details. (Why didn't they go with Canog.ie? :(...) Not sure on the rounders front!
