If you could choose one band/artist to see perform live who would it be???
They can be dead or alive.

For me it would have to be Johnny Cash or the Beatles.

Frank Zappa and the Mothers/Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band.
They recorded a live album together called Bongo Fury and it's back in the 70's. It's just awesome.

I'd go back earlier to see Zappa/Mothers at the roxy, although any of his bands would've been amazing.

Led Zeppelin in Madison Square Gardens about 1972-1974 would be pretty special.
And of course any Pink Floyd tour from DSOTM to The Wall.

Saw Metallica with Cliff Burton in the old SFX hall just a few weeks before he died, I think Anthrax were the support band that night.
Saw the Crue in Hammersmith Odeon in 1986, I think it was later that night that Nikki Sixx OD on heroin and the dealers freaked and threw him in a dumpster! Ahh..good times....:pac:

Being of the opinion that I was born 30 years too late (1974) when it comes to music my head might explode if I tried to think of just 1 act I would like to have seen!:D
Sticking a pin in an imaginary list I'd say Lynnyrd Skynnyrd, Ronnie Van Zant era.
    Or Dylans Rolling Thunder Revue.
Or Suicidal Tendencies with Rocky George.
    Metallica with Cliff Burton.
    The Dubliners with Luke Kelly...................
