Windows 7 and Outlook Express

    Hi
    have got a new laptop with windows 7 and cant use Outlook Express with it.My problem is I have a eircom.net e-mail address and wonder how I can access it ?.Or will have to get a gmail address

    There are other email clients, e.g. Mozilla Thunderbird, and many others. The Opera browser includes one, nice browser too.

    Windows 7 doesn't come with an email client so you'll need to download and install one. I suggest Mozilla Thunderbird.

    Outlook Express was superseded by Windows Mail (in Vista) and now Windows Live Mail in the Windows Live Essentials suite.

    officially windows 7 doesnt have a built in email client but it does actually have windows mail (the same as vista) client but it is hidden and you need to do one or two things to get it working, copy file over from a vista machine but hey presto it works then
