I'd be interested to find out the same, somewhere around South County Dublin preferably.

Most clubs would have practice facilities. I'd be fairly sure that you could just rock up to any of them and bat away without anyone bothering you. If they do, just move on to the next club down the road.

it means he puts posts up just looking for a reaction. He generally speaking has nothing worth reading and just enjoys winding people up, hence a TROLL

What's the problem? I repair pitchmarks/divots and rake bunkers. I don't see what the problem is. Most clubs don't seem to have any problem with it either. As long as you don't abuse the same course then no harm done.

People don't pay good hard earned money on fees and membership for clowns like you to waltz in and use their facilities free of charge.

No club would allow it either!

Stick a cap on and no club would have a clue whether the person is a member or not. As long as you've got golf gear on, you're sorted. Didn't realise Forrest Little had a security guard on their putting green.

    Sadly very Irish

Very much like a person working in a spar store on minimum wage and then thinks its ok to eat all the stock without paying for it.

Man are you for real??? I can't believe you are that low of a human being to "rock up" use a members club and not think there in anything wrong with it?? I know this may sound a little harsh but its kinda like stealing in my mind......I had a guy in my shop years ago boasting about "jumping the fences" of cubs and playing the few holes for free, Milltown, Castle GC and The Grange etc! I coudn't believe he was telling me this and saw no wrong at all with, one word barred another and he walked out with the his ears ringing, My other 2 work mates and a customer gave him a fair bit of abuse too. We still see this guy trawling around and I can't have him near me!

Anyway as a side Boardians....I'm looking to run a 5 a-side tournamentnext month......think I'll just "Rock up" to the Aviva and use it......should be ok if we all wear Jerseys............

I'm going to piggyback this post as I dont think the OPs question was answered!

I went to Leopardstown last night, 10euro for 45 minutes on their artificial chipping/putting area. Waste of time and money to be honest.

Is there any better chipping/putting areas in the south dublin area???

Or does one have to join a club to be in a position to practice short game properly??
