About 2 years ago in a drunken state i stupidly put my hand through a window, I ended up cutting nerves and Tendons in my hand and arm! All is ok now but i am left with some bad scarring on my hand and arm!

Will this have any effect in a Pre-Employment medical exam and will i just come clean from the start in case doc notices mid way through exam and i dont have it filled out on declaration cert?
There is a question on the cert which states ...Have you ever been in Hospital, attended Casualty or Outpatients,Consulted a Medical or Surgical Specialist or Psychiatrist?

All of the above is true apart from the last!!

Please help, I dont want to limit my chances...:( Thanks

just say the scars as a result of falling through a window. you don't need to make a big deal of it.

A lot of times the pre-employment medical is only to determine that you will be accepted at standard rates for the death in service benefit (which pays out 4x your income).
I wouldn't worry about disclosing the Meningitis. As for the scars, it depends on what's noted on your medical records. If they have no medical record, it basically means it was a non event.
