I'm interested in meeting other musicians to add to some songs I've written with a mind to record an EP

Not expecting to make a million dollars before breakfast...

Looking to create music that haunts the soul - a dark pure sound

Something along the same lines as Peter Broderick, Horse Feathers, Iron and Wine, Villagers and Damien Rice

I'm treating it as a long term project - piecing it together one member at a time

Age isn't an issue - just be passionate about music and have talent

I'm 26 and living in South Dublin

    Hi
I play guitar (well) and bass (well enough) and I would be interested in this sort of thing. I'm in Celbridge but have transport.
    PM me if you;re interested.

I'd really like to emulate or at least create something similar to those haunting organ sounds Villagers make in their songs -

any organ players or pianists are a definite priority -

would love to meet some and share ideas

A number of colored circles laying on top of each other. Each circle represents one of the songs.

Another reason for the circles, is that a lot of the songs describe things (trees etc) to be spinning. Circles give an illusion of spinning, especially when you add objects on them like in this concept.

Coloring is very light. Reason for this is it fits the floaty, light character of the songs.

In the booklet, every circle is more detailed and fits the lyrics to the songs even better.

Further breakdown of the booklet design:

    Spinning - Green
Green to reflect the grasses and the trees. Life. Two figures dancing, spinning around in the circle. The girl is unsure at first, but slowly gives herself over to the dance.. her inhibitions ebbing.. floating away.. 'hold on to every word you say'..

    Sailing Away -Blue
Blue is a color we tend to relate with melancholy and symbolises eternity.. 'how long must I wait, how long will it take'... Waves are everlasting, and life an everlasting wait for a love to be answered.

    Blue Skies - White
Loneliness is like staring at a blank object, there is nothing there with you. The pale circle represents that. Blue skies .. memories .. provide hope to help see you through it.

My Juliet, Your Romeo - Yellow
Warm yellows here, because it fits the romance in the song. Hills along the side. Butterflies to represent the love. Only thing missing, is a representation of Romeo & Juliet. To be added later on.

    Neopolitan Skies - Purple
Warm purple hues in this one, to represent the night. But not in a dark way, more in a romantic way. A single star in the sky, a sign saying 'Run Away' on the bottom.
