Hi again just thought i drop by with a silly question for the pros here,
I'm at the moment building my PC and iv come to a small but annoying question, can I run a 3gbps hard drive of a 6gpbs connection reason I ask this is because I want to run a RAID0 system and a 1tb backup drive but my mother board only supports 2 x 3gbps and 6 x 6gbps. All hard drives are 3gbps.

    my setup consists of

    cooler-master haf 932
    AMD phenom II 3.2
    Gigabyte ga-890gpa-ud3
    8GB of ddr3 ocz ram
    coolermaster v10 cooler
Sapphire Radeon Hd 4890 x2 in crossfire
    HDD need to sort first.

so If anyone got any answer im your student

    Thanks again
    Jon

you could stripe it with stupid fast drives in RAID0 on the 6gbps and put your 1TB storage on the 3gbps.
