    Hi,
I have an interview soon for a retail job, within the new terminal in the airport. I was informed that I will be required to wear formal corporate dress. I wore a black fitted dress and black tights and blazer, to my first interview, but what exactly is formal corporate? A black trouser suit? I would wear a black high waisted skirt and blouse, but would this be formal enough? Also, I have a tattoo on my foot so can't wear tan tights, as it can be seen.....also, if anyone has any ideas where I could pick up something reasonably priced e.g €50 max, as I'm on a budget!
    Thanks

Don't have a huge amount of experience but I'd say you'll probably be fine with a high waisted skirt if it hits your knees (or *very* slightly above), black tights and a long sleeved blouse or a short sleeved blouse (but worn with your blazer or a black cardigan). Make sure your shoes are a sensible heel height and plain and keep jewelry to a minimum. Clearly you've dressed the part so far or you wouldn't have progressed to the next stage so I wouldn't worry about it too much :) I've found both Penneys and Marks & Spencer good for formal workwear on a budget. The latter usually has some excellent separates for roughly 30 euro. Good luck!

Business formal for a retail store? Interesting -DAA must be severely upscaling brand wise.

It's a suit. Buy a black jacket if you are stuck (zara, 39.90) and hope it's close enough in colour and fabric to skirts and trousers you already have to pass for a suit. But really if that's what they are asking you to wear to work there should be a clothing allowance. Is it a clothing store? Once you start they may offer you deep discounted items as 'uniform'

Sorry, I think you took me up wrong, it's for my interview, If I actually get the job, I presume uniforms will be provided :o

Oops! In that case, either a skirt suit or trouser suit, plus a collared shirt/blouse (lots of places you'd get away with a plain fitted top under a suit, but since they specified a dress code better to stick to it strictly). You might get away with your blazer and a skirt, depending on how close they are in colour and fabric. If not Zara have a nice black skirt suit in the new collection, but it is €75 IIRC. Dunnes have a decent selection also, but roughly the same price. I wouldn't go with Penneys tbh, their suiting fabric looks cheap.

    Best of luck!

I picked up a fab black pinstripe trouser suit recently for 30 euro in Dunnes, that was with the shirt and all. It's a perfect fit and doesn't look cheap at all imho.
