    Hi all,

Was looking at these two laptops to day. Any opinons on which of these are suitable. Samsung at €599.99 or Dell at €629.99.

Required for daughter going to college, usual requirements: internet, spreadsheets, word, watching Dvd's, etc.

    Thanks.

No joke but a 200-300 euro 2nd hand laptop on adverts.ie suits the bill. Nothing flashy needed for that kind of thing. Just be sure you get to inspect those laptops in person before buying.

Also if its a laptop thats going to be brought in and out of college, get as small as possible. Dont get a 17 inch screen, nothing worse than hauling it around all day.
