I got the iphone today and i'm giving my 3G to my boyfriend. I know I have to restore it to wipe it but will it give him the option to set up his own itunes account even though we are using the same computer and itunes to sync phones etc?

I dont want him going wild on my credit card :)

Yeah, he just signs out of yours and in with his. He'll just need to set up his own account first.

Yeah - have 2 iPhone 4's & iPad on same laptop. 2 accounts with same CC. just make sure to sync movies/music selectively if you want different stuff on each device

Plug in your phone and cancel the sync when it starts up. Click on Smyths iPhone or whatever it's called and go through each tab, unchecking the "sync all" option. You can then select the individual apps/music etc you want on each phone. You might have to click apply and let it sync each category by tab one at a time.
