    Hey,
    I am going on holidays in Ireland and I am desperately looking for a car.
    Does anyone of you know a company that rents cars to students under 21?

    Hi,
    I used to work for a car rental company in the Airport and in peak time the main ones( Hertz, Avis etc) would not rent to people under 21 due to 'insurance reasons'. Some of the smaller ones will (try enterprise, dan dooley, Irish car rental and other ones on the old airport road) but you could be liable to an age surcharge, i.e. they charge you extra 20-30 a day cos you're under 21.
    Also are you male or female because some are more liable to give cars to females under 21 rather then males.

    Also if you go mid week when they're not too busy you could get one easy enough i'd say
