Hi everyone, sorry about another wedding question, I have looked EVERYWHERE for a nice dress to wear as a guest to a wedding but all the smart dresses are too short on me, I just can't find anything at all :(

It's a summer wedding...not too formal and I have a very casual dress which I've had in my wardrobe for a while http://www.boohoo.com/FashionClothing/index.php?id=AZZ83506&code=AZZ83506-148-31&size=S%2FM&color=NAVY which I love.....Do you think I could get away with wearing this, i'd probably dress it up with some dusky pink wedges and maybe a dusky pink flower in my hair, I have long black hair which I will be wearing loose and wavy.

    Any opinions appreciated!!

That dress is really cute, personally I think it would be absolutely fine for a wedding! :) Assuming the wedding's in Ireland, though, you'll probably need a shawl or cardi or something over it unless the weather improves a lot.

Some lovely stuff on that site ... there goes the rest of my evening, yet another distraction from studying! :o

Am I missing something? I'm getting to a page with a couple of animal print jumpsuits on that link. :(

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Can't see it either-but this site has nice stuff!

It's a nice dress - but my only concern is that it's too short for a wedding. Am I alone in thinking that?

Yeah its nice but it might be a tiny bit too revealing for a church.

You have to bear in mind that the models used are usually really really tall with insanely long legs! I'm average height (5'6") and I usually find that, if a dress is that length on the model in the pics, it'll actually be just above my knees when I try it on.

I think it's cute, but I would definitely get a pink pashmina or shrug for when you are in the church. I think it's a tiny bit revealing on it's own. I think it will be gorgeous with the pink wedges and flower and the great thing is, you will get wear out of it again. I'm so sick of buying dresses for weddings and only wearing them once!

Sorry Ladies, sometimes when there items go out of stock the links don't work but as they are returned and added back to their inventory the links work again!

The dress isn't that short on me as it looks on the model and I might try to get a little pink cami for underneath it but I will be wearing my hair loose and kind of forward so there will really be minimal cleavage showing, will have a look for a little shrug or cardi aswell!

Also as I said it is a casual wedding but with a very long bar extension:) hehe so I intend to change into some brown flat cowboy boots as the evening wears on so i'm not falling out of my heels :)

cc-offe, can I ask, what is the quality like from that site? I have seen them advertised a lot in magazines and it seems really good value. Is the quality of the clothes ok? They seem to have gorgeous stuff in their website, I am tempted to have a wee splurge!

if you look anything like the girl modelling the dress, you could go wearing a black bag and turn heads.

Quality is great most of the time, I've ordered a couple of things that the sizes ended up being a bit big on me but I returned them and it was no trouble,

I've seen some of the things they sell in other shops that sell those AX paris dresses and those kind of brands and they work out much cheaper in sterling but because boohoo gives all the dresses female names and doesn't list the brand that makes the dress, It can be hard to find what you're looking for without literally going through every single dress!
I think they must be getting more popular here in Ireland because down in wexford i've seen their adverts on billboards.

Most of the shoes and boots they sell seem to be sold in Corky's so they always seem to be good quality!

Sometimes they have discount codes so it's always worth a google if you're planning on ordering one but I don't think they have one currently!

I don't think my original link is working anymore but they have the same dress listed under another name/link....it is styled slightly different on this model and looks even shorter on her but it's really not that short on me so here's the new link http://www.boohoo.com/FashionClothing/index.php?id=AZZ80457&code=AZZ80457-148-31&size=S%2FM&color=NAVY
