Theres something wrong with the screen of my laptop. Just walked from college to the bus and its happened. Happened once before and it was in a similar situation. Should I open it up and tighten the connections/

What did you do the last time?

Do you have a spare PC monitor to test it with? If you do, plug the monitor cable into the vga port on the laptop. Does that show everything as normal while the screen stays like that?

I used snipping tool and it's not software based. Pressed the screen on the back and it sorted it out. Convinced its a loose connection. Might perform surgery on it later.

Looks like it could be a loose video card cable. Take off the screen bezel/power button bezel according to the service guide and reset the connections. Do the same from the GPU side.
