Dell Studio 1735 No sound from Speakers

    Hi all,

    For some time now the sound has been cutting out from my internal speakers.
    I have rang Dell and they've told me that everything seems fine so it must be a software problem.
    The laptop if out of warranty and I can't really afford to extend it right now.

    When the laptop starts up it might have sound for a few minutes but if I try to open youtube or iTunes there's no audio.
    Sometimes if I restart then it will work for a bit.

    Can't find anything online only similar problems with no definite answer.

    I'd be delighted if someone could help.

    That is weird. Have a look at my post approx half an hour before yours.
