Are you looking for a hardshell case or just a sleeve?

I have a moshi codex and love it, cost me 40 odd euro from amazon.

If you want super protection there is a company called Dro Concepts that make a carbon Fibre case, price $289.99

A cheap and effective option would be to go into a DIY shop like Woody's and get a small toolbox.

    What about something like this:

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.10334

    or this:

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.15718

I have one for my macbook pro and they're grand if you need extra cushioning in the bag! As far as I saw when I was looking for this type of thing the dealextreme ones are the same or very similar to what you're charged 40€ for in the shops!

There are a few more on that site. Just take a look. Shipping is (or certainly used to be) free. Pay by Paypal. Shipping was about 2 weeks.

Get the Speck perspex snap-on covers.

I've had mine since I got my MBP 3 years ago and it's survived two drops already, one on concrete and one on tiles. I'm nearly sure the hard case took the brunt of the fall and lessened the blow to the laptop itself.
