I have exams next week in Croke Park (Mon, Tues, Wed) and I'm planning to take public transport as I don't want the stress/hassle of parking. I know there are a load of different routes serving the area but I was wondering which one is best? I'll be getting the luas to Stephen's Green and I have to be at Croke Park for 9am.

    Thanks.

46a /145 go from the green to Mountjoy Sq. Its just 5 mins walk from there.

I'm sure there are plenty more, nothing as frequent springs to mind though.

at that hour of the morning 10-15 mins with traffic, maybe only 5 if quiet enough.

There are loads of buses you can get: 46a and 145 go from Stephen's green to Mountjoy Square, the 11/a/b go from Stephen's Green and Drop you at Drumcondra train station - a few mins walk away, the 16/16a go down George's stret and drop you at Drumcondra, and the 13/13a go down Nassau street and drop you at Drumcondra station. The 128 heads out North strand road from Stephen's green, which is also a short walk to Croke park.

As for time, it's a short journey which would take about 15 minutes in rush hour. Allow 10 minutes to go from Luas to bus, and 15 minutes on the bus.

Few Hotels like Skylon in Drumcondra have parking as im sure croke park hotel does..

I often find there is more stress with the bus..
