You won't look like a fool.

You can use dental dams for oral.
To be honest though, I've never come across anyone who used dental dams.

For anal on the other hand (so to speak, boom, boom) I know many women use latex gloves or finger cots. That's more a general hygiene thing though than particularly STI related.

Obviously be fairly scrupulous hygiene-wise if sharing toys. Use condoms on them.

Talk to your lady about your worries. If she's older, she'll have come across it before. Don't do anything you don't feel comfortable and safe doing. Enjoy.

Thanks for the info, never heard of dental dams! I know condoms for toys it's stuff like oral and tribadism i'm confused about what to use, do people even use stuff and is there a high risk of STIs if I don't??

There's as much a risk of STIs as with men (particularly if the woman you're with has been with men), apart from HIV which is a lower risk.
    Some vaginal infections are higher.

    Have a look at these:

    http://www.qahc.org.au/files/shared/docs/fs_lesbiansexualhealth.pdf (.pdf file)

Really though, talk to your lady. Find out what you like, what she likes, you may not end up doing all (or any) of the activities mentioned.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
