I recently sold a 05 highline passat, same model as yours, with 98k full leather serviced, nct'd, warranty for €7350. with the mileage on the car your looking at, provided its from a dealer and with some warranty and a service and is in good nick i would say you wopuld not want to pay more than 6250. offer him 5500 and see how ya get on!

some people will disagree with me and say its 2 much but thats what these cars go for from dealers

about 5-5.5k depending on color and extras such as heated leather seats.

I'd ask if the clutch and DMF has been done yet. That will give you a big stick to haggle with.

I sold my 03 Passat this year for 4200. Highline, 130bhp, 110k miles. It needed a new DMF and timing changed.

I miss that car. Such a comfortable car to drive and very economical.

How soon are you looking for one? I have an 05 highline, climate control, cd changer, cruise control, leather seats, heated seats, reverseing sensors, nokia car kit, 4x elec windows the list goes on lol! I'll be selling in a few months, less than that anyway. 150k miles.

I too sold mine - 04 130 sport with 98k on the clock €5750 cash.
I don't miss mine at all. It was economical all right.
@ robin3 - Dual Mass Flywheel is a part of the cluch assembly and will need to be done with cluch afaik.
