    HO,

I'm on a day off some I'm sitting on the couch in my PJ's looking at Boards..

AS I look to the bottom of the screen there is currently 503 active users..
Surely that many people can't also be off work and doing the same thing as me...

SO, Are you all on the Doss form/at work.?

Anybody else think the women's football championship would get more publicity if they renamed it "22 girls, 1 cup"?

The goalkeeper's in women's football (soccer) are absolutely atrocious, they couldn't save money!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 155 ✭✭Corkladddd!!

I did go for breakfast at my break....does that count???

Work is optional on a Friday...hence Casual Fridays

If I'm allowed wear a t-shirt instead of a normal collar I'm not doing much!!

i have to go outside into the world to get some things i need, so putting that off for as long as possible........its scarey out there!!!! :o
I HATE PACKING!!! and LISTS!!!! i hate list too!! but for fear i will forget everything important i think i will be forced to put pen to paper and compile one. What if I get a paper cut???

Watch 64 games of Women's football and you will see far more errors and soft goals being conceded than men's, I once saw a female goalkeeper get chipped.........standing on her line ffs!!!

fyi; 450k unemployed in this land.

503 people is 0.001% of that.

The other 449,497 are still in bed I'd say.

Yes the goal posts should be lower to accomadate the difference in stature between men and women.

Don't make this a battle of the sexes.

It's not, the standard of outfield player is very high but for some reason the keepers are very poor!

Most of my office are gone to lunch already (guess the sector??) so I'm rattling around here on my own with fook all to do.

I've been throwing big lumps of bread out to crows and watching them fight over it but now its all gone. I'm on boards until I can get more bread.

But are the outfield players on par with the outfield players on a men's team . I think they are and I also think the women's keepers are just as good as in the men's game.

Have you watched much women's football and don't just say yes because they are hot . I will get angry.

I gave up watching it because the goalkeepers were so poor, the outfield players are very good (there was a Brazilian who was fantastic at the last World Cup I think) but I got put off by the number of soft goals conceded!
