    Any pictures of the bike?

    Hi Anzer,

I didn't post any as the bike is literally brand new so just like you'd see it in the online photos.

E.g. Check out this link attached:

    http://www.racycles.com/store/images/xl/Felt_B12_2010.jpg

That's exactly what you'd be getting only with the addition of Carbon pedals, a decent speedo and the tri-specific aero watter bottle with bracket and bands.

I think I forgot to say in the first thread that its the 2010 model as seen in the photo as well.

    Hope that helps

    Still for sale?

Can it be used for cycling other than triathlons.

    Hi Fitgaffer,

It is indeed, I'm also going to throw in my Tri-Helmet for free to who ever buys this off me and its worth €160 on its own!

Tri-bikes would be mainly used for triathlons and time trials, the nature of the bikes means they are not as suited to general road cycling as the frames are stiffer, don't turn as well or climb as well as standard road bikes.

They are designed for super straight line speed, you can of course corner and hill climb on your tri bike but not as easily. Tri bikes really come into their own in races like triathlons as with no group shelter as you get when you road cycle in groups, the tri bike keeps you in an agressive position and you use a different muscle group in your legs which means its easier to get off the bke and run.

Hope that helps you out a bit.

I will be back in country in 3 weeks (9/09). If you would still have it, please write. I've sent you an email as well.

    Thanks,

    Hi Leo,

Thanks, the bike is still for sale at the minute and the good news is I'm also throwing in my Tri Helmet with this deal at no extra charge. Again its brand new and is a good quality Bell that I bought new for €160.

I'm 5ft 9" tall or 176 cm. So if you are around this height give or take a few inches the bike frame should suit you. If you ride a road bike at 54 cm then a 52cm on a Tri will be the right size.

Send me a message or email on your return and I'll let you know if its still for sale.

    Thanks
    Ciaran

    Hi Leo,

I do indeed, a few people have looked at it and 1 has told me he will buy it off me in December but I'm not holding onto it if I get a buyer in the meantime so by all means you're welcome to take it.

Would you like to arrange to view and take it for a spin?

    Regards
    Ciaran
