66 at the moment but the 67 should be starting up there soon

    None.

The towns main bus stops are on Main Street for the Dublin Bus 66 Service and Opposite the Glen Royal for the 67a
(Once in a blue moon the 66 goes as far as Kilcock, so that's as near as it gets to Moyglare)

There is a Bus Eireann stop opposite the Glen Royal for Galway service buses and one on the Kilcock Road (Next to Aldi)

Dublin Bus is currently redrawing the routes a bit which will mean the 67 will stop on the Moyglare road. but that might be off in the future.

There are plans to bring the 67 into the Moyglare Hall Estate and make the terminus The Walk. The two speed ramps at the school have to be removed and replaced with bus friendly ones first though. I can see the logic of bringing it to the avenue at the front of the estate but just because the council won't pay for a turning bay driving into housing estate is hardly the way to go!

Thanks everyone. So the 66 (getting off at the Main Street) is the closest to Moyglare? I'm thinking of renting there and commuting to work in the city centre. Is it a far walk from Moyglare to the main street or even to the train station? Just thinking of the rainy days.

Where in Moyglare? Moyglare Village is closer than, say, Moyglare Hall.

Its still relatively long to both the existing bus stops and further to the train.

Yeah, for example it's a good 20-25 minutes from where we are to the village, so we drive to the train station.

I know. Awful idea. The Walk in particular always has plenty of kids playing.

Not sure what you mean...is it better to terminate outside the housing estate or inside where all the people live?!?

Outside rather than driving all the way through it just to turn around. The council don't want to pay for a turning bay on the main road and their preference is for the bus to turn in the housing estate. I don't know if you know the estate but two bus bays exist on the main road into the estate if one was enlarged the bus could turn there. Rather than hijack someone else's thread I started one here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055991582

I lived in moyglare apartments before and it's not that far at all but most other places in moyglare are further. I would definitely get the train over the bus though!
