    Hiya,
On a major budget and I currently have waist length hair that has not been cut in three years....(scissor phobia after a bad cut).
Now Im ready to take the plunge as I would like to have something new done, maybe layers or something--anyhow was just wondering if anyone knows where is a good place to get a cheap and good haircut? I know I could offer myself as a model to student hairdressers for a free cut, but Im very particular about the style I want and if it goes wrong, it could go *very* wrong.
Heard there is a chinese hairdressers on Thomas Street thats meant ot be good, and wondering if anyone had any other suggestions.

Cant afford to be paying 45-75 cuid just for a haircut at the mo.

I go to the hairdressers In the Carlisle gym, Dublin 12, always been happy with them. They have a special on , 25e for a cut before noon.

That sounds good --do you have to make an appointment with them beforehand?

citydeal.ie has a deal on at the min for €25 for a cut blow dry and loreal conditioning treatment in House of Colour - it normally costs €68. Bought it yesterday as it seemed like a good deal.

Headcases in Ranelagh is great. Not too expensive and you don't have to book. Not over thirty euro.

@AMS - I tried to do that but hesitated as it mentioned something about a beauty treatment also and I wasn't sure if I could buy the one without the other!!
Is it for valid for ANY house of color or just particular stores?

yeah its for any house of colour! I think the treatment is just a bit of extra conditioner that they usually charge €15 for. Am looking forward to treating myself to it - usually just go to a cheapy hairdresser!

The chinese ones are excellent, especially Tian Du (who have upped their prices a little bit :() Its 20 for a wash and cut for short hair, 15 for a dry cut.
