    Right,

I have done a few searches here and on google but it is all unofficial updates.

There was on 02 forums in relation to this but all them links are now invalid.

Basically I'm stuck on 1.5 atm.

I have a desktop running windows 7 and neither Kies or PC studio will even install on it.

I also have a laptop running XP.

Studio has been installed on this lappie and it does say that there is an upgrade for i5700, downloads this update but then freezes both the lappie and Spica at installation stage. (tried too many times now to rem the amount of times I have done this)

This really is a massive ballache atm.

Can I a) actually install the friggin update at home at all or b) if I carry it into a shop will they install it for me there and then.

I'm so frustrated at this atm

    hi op,
I've tried updating it myself too but with no success :( but recently I've had some trouble with my spicia (where the sim card was not being read) and got it sent off for repair... but when i got it back a few weeks later it had the 2.1 update on it :):) and its far better than the 1.5 version imo  so i'd say if u dropped it into the place where my one got repaired they might do it for you, hope this helps :D
