I have an iphone 3GS, upgraded the firmare to 4.0.1 and used Jailbreakme.com to jailbreak it. All good except my Cellular Data Settings are missing and I dont have the tab to enter them manually, meaning I cant send MMS or access the internet via Edge or 3G. I've already done a full restore and jailbreakme again but to no avail. Any thoughts??

When you download the carrier settings via itunes, or pushed to your phone the Cellular Data Settings are locked to prevent you from making a mess of the APN's and incur extra charges amongst other reasons.
If you wish to change your APN visit http://www.unlockit.co.nz on your iDevice - input the details and apply ;]

I have. Is it a common problem on a factory unlocked iphone? One of my friend has unblock one and she is afraid to jaillbreak and unblock her 3gs now after seeing my problem.

mm, did itunes or your iPhone prompt you to download carrier settings (I wouldn't have thought so since Meteor isn't an official network)

I had the exact same problem. Did you put on carrier settings for Meteor from Cydia? Well I removed this package from my Cydia sources, turned the phone off and on again, and then the settings returned... I then entered the Meteor settings manually.

    Hope this helps!

Cydia has carrier settings for meteor.ie just search for meteor in cydia. Says it's for OS 3.1.x but couldn't make it any worse I'd say
