can anyone recommend me a cheaper version of the MAC 187 foundation brush?

I bought it and loved it but stupidly lost it on a drunken night out :( , and i really dont want to shell out €50 for a new one!

any recommendations? or is MAC the only way to go?

(I'd rather spend €50 on the mac one if its wayy better than other ones, than pay €25 for one that isn't any good)

    this is the brush :

Or if anyone has recommendations for something else to apply foundation with that gives good coverage and a nice finish I'd love to hear them :)

I never bring make-up on a night out, I always lose expensive lipsticks after a night of debauchery!

I tried the body shop brush and didn't like it but am really happy with the ruby and millie one I have (two years) now, you can get it in Boots and its €16-17.

hey, i have just ordered a "mac 187" from ebay, says its authentic but i highly doubt it, especially because it cost less than 10euro haha. Gonna try it anyway, IL let you know what its like.

The ELF Powder brush is actually quite good for foundation, it's £3.50.

Obviously it's more dense than the 187 but I find I need less foundation with it! http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~prodID~136.htm Sure for that money you could try it anyway, and wait until someone is going to the UK or even the states and can bring you back a 187 - I think it's £26 in Gatwick.

I was looking at that actually, sold out though :(

How are the delivery times etc with elf?
Any other elf recommendations to buy if I do end up buying that when it's back in stock?

    About a week I think?

I think everything else I got was rejected tbh, but have a look on beaut.ie as there are a good few reviews and some new products e.g. gel liners.

If you friend ELF on Facebook they have discount codes as well!

Also does anyone have any idea how long it takes things to be back in stock on the ELF website?

Just had a quick look on the FB page, looks like they are getting deliveries in August and September. That could be quite a long time. They had 20% off today as well which might have caused the out-of-stock issue.

In case you see it, the GOSH 187 dupe has shocking reviews. Shocking. Don't get that.

The Sigma one I seem to recall had more positive feedback but after a quick look apparently it's not (it's the F15) as good as I recalled.

Dunnes had one for a while. Sigma brushes are supposed to be really good. Don't go near coastal scents, they're rip off merchants and all there stuff is on ebay for a quarter of the price.

I had a 187 brush for foundation and I decided I wanted another one as a spare so I went on ebay and got a genuine one for 30euro, when it arrived I compared it to my original one and there was no difference...absolutely perfect!

If you are buying from ebay just make sure you check the sellers feedback to ensure an easy transaction!
